Cave of Adullam

"All those who were in distress, in debt or discontented gathered around him, and he became their commander."

1 Samuel 22:2

The Cave of Adullam

We are living in a time of exposure.

Across politics and within the Church, trust is eroding. Cover-up culture has damaged confidence. Power protects itself. Institutions manage image. And many sincere believers are left weary, questioning, and quietly disillusioned.

Is this what the Kingdom was meant to look like?

There was a moment in history that felt remarkably similar in the Old Testament.

Israel had a throne, a structure, and a system — but insecurity and control shaped the culture. And in that moment, something unexpected happened.

Men who were distressed, in debt and bitter in soul left the system and gathered around a rejected king in a cave outside Bethlehem — the Cave of Adullam.

It didn’t look impressive. It wasn’t funded. It wasn’t positioned for influence.

But it was real. No pretending. No image management. No cover-ups.

In that hidden place, something supernatural happened. Identity was restored. Fear was broken. Brotherhood was formed. Purpose was awakened. Those distressed men did not remain discontented. They became David’s mighty men.

The cave was not escape. It was formation.

We believe the Church is in an Adullam moment.

Not dying — reforming. Not collapsing — being refined.

God often rebuilds in hidden places before He restores in public.

The Cave of Adullam exists to gather those who are hungry for authenticity over appearance, presence over platform, and truth over protection. Through monthly broadcasts, teaching and community, we are rediscovering what it means to be formed around the true King again, Jesus.

This is not about building another empire.

It is about forming mighty people in obscurity — people shaped by integrity, honour and the ancient yet very good news of the kingdom.

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone.

The Cave

Our monthly broadcast is hosted in our studio with high quality tech, sound & lighting.  In our monthly sessions we discuss some of the most important themes of the bible that enable Gods power to flow in peoples lives. These themes & values where also present at the time of King David when he was in the Cave of Adullam and we have an expectation that as people engage they too will see the power of God moving in their life.  This is a place to investigate, ask questions and to discover the ancient Gospel.
